How did The Panelist come about? |

David Neubert and Michelle Haimoff met at a Media Bistro event at The Delancey in the summer of 2006. David talked about starting a finance magazine for the socially conscious investor, which Michelle then named (and renamed, and renamed). They started meeting at Grounded, a local coffee shop, to brainstorm ideas for the site, and ultimately ended up hiring Grounded’s web designers, Undici, as The Panelist’s design team. Eventually the network grew to include writers, financial bloggers, business advisors and friends and, although the site continues to evolve, the mission remains.
