Tom Hart is a cartoonist and teacher and the creator of Hutch Owen, a series of critically acclaimed graphic novels and now a daily comic strip about a bunch of outsiders and lay-abouts determined to live in our culture with their values intact. Tom teaches cartooning at the School of Visual Arts and at various others schools in the New York City area, where he lives with his wife Leela, an illustrator and bellydancer.
