Live from The Berkshire Hathaway Annual Meeting E-mail

So my road trip from New York to New Orleans now brings me to Omaha for the Berkshire Hathaway Shareholder Festival (um, I think it's an annual meeting but it feels more like a festival).

Warren Buffett is a CEO who knows how to treat shareholders.  He doesn't overpay himself, generates great returns, he throws them a big party with Dairy Queen, BBQ, funny movies and the like.  I feel like I'm at the capitalist version of Burning Man.  Can I wear my tie-dye?

On the way here, I had to stop at Dairy Queen. Also, I've included a photo of my shareholder passes in case you want to know what they look like.

That is really cool. I bet the whole event is a lot of fun. Buffet has proven himself over time. He has a rare knack for finding value and creating wealth for shareholders. His approach is very refreshing when the rest of the market is trying to make mad money by churning their accounts.
