Following up on a previous report about global warming’s impact on songbird populations (Silent Spring Happening Now at a Forest Near You), comes this new report from Minnesota birdwatchers and the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (DNR) on additional songbird deaths.

Heartland Institute: Seeking Global Warming Sanity or Tar Sands? E-mail

This week, a conservative American think tank known as the Heartland Institute send out about 12,000 brochures and DVDs to Canadian schools urging teachers to correct the record on global warming.

I try not to make a habit of citing the New American, but there is quite a bit of data to support the theory that the current warming trend is just a continuation of a climate cycle the Earth has been in for thousands, if not millions, of years.
