| Intrigued by Wall Street type of money and fun entrepreneurship, Zola Larsen finished college with a degree in Computer Science and Economics, and then set out for the investment world to see what it was all about, and to maybe hopefully get a piece of it.
Even though she's found the market to be quite challenging and doesn't understand its sense of humor (surprises?) and even though it has given her her lumps, she nevertheless admires it for being an excellent teacher who is more concerned with being right than being liked. She continues her studies under its tutelage at an investment management firm in New York City (of which she also hopes to get a piece). She keeps an eye out for developments in the socially responsible equities space and their performance and, despite a noticeably absent formal background in writing, she also enjoys sharing her observations. Because of her professional responsibilies, Zola writes under a pseudonym. |
