Patagonia (Recycled feedstocks) - 2007/01/08 23:56 Patagonia uses soda bottles to make the base material it uses for its SynchillaŽ fleece product. Approximately 40 billion plastic bottles are produced annually in the U.S., About two-thirds of them end up in landfills. The amount of petroleum saved by using post-consumer recycled bottles instead of virgin materials in the manufacturing process is enough to power a city the size of Atlanta for a year. Cheers,
Tom
