Chevron defends their involvment in Myranmar (Burma) and deliniates some of what they are doing to support NGO's trying to help the situation. They also state their support for the people of Burma clearly, "Chevron supports the calls for a peaceful resolution to the current situation in Myanmar in a way that respects the human rights of the people of Myanmar." I'd like to help them follow through on that support.

Chevron (CVX) is one of the major investors in the Yadana gas field and pipeline project. This pipeline transports gas to Thailand and, reportedly, pays a rather large chunk to the military regime in Burma.
I quickly ran across some oil companies that I own or follow. I found that, even though my ownership choices of integrated oil and energy companies is mostly determined by their relative futures prospects current valuations compared to expected future valuations, these choices matched nicely with more cooperative companies.
